Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos has hit out at Atletico Madrid’s social media campaign which apparently questions his side’s values.
Atletico's social media team have posted tweets with the hashtag #NoLoPuedenEntender (they cannot understand) and messages such as: "I love you for your values, not for what you win."
The posts seem to have been in relation to a Bernabeu banner – sanctioned by Madrid – asking 'How does it feel to have lost two Champions League finals?'
“Here it seems we were all born in Beverly Hills, with a current account of more than €40 million,” Ramos remarked at his pre-match press conference.
"But we have many people who come from humble backgrounds, who were brought up well. All the campaigns, whatever anyone wants to do, does not change what we do.
"We have our values, our humility and make our sacrifice on the pitch."
