Valencia end 3-game losing streak

Valencia ended a run of three consecutive league defeats with a comfortable 4-1 victory over already-relegated Osasuna at the Mestalla.

Ezequiel Garay scored twice to give the home side a 2-0 lead before the break while further goals from Simone Zaza and Rodrigo Moreno sealed victory and Miguel Olavide’s last minute goal proved nothing more than a consolation for the visitors.

The victory keeps Los Che in 13th place – one point behind Celta Vigo and two from Malaga – while Osasuna remain rooted to the foot of the table with only three victories all season.

Next up for Voro’s side is a trip to Espanyol, while Osasuna host Granada in a match between two relegated sides.
