Celta Vigo Coach Eduardo Berizzo believes the key to Celta Vigo hopes of a Europa League turnaround lie in setting striker Iago Aspas ‘free’.
The former Liverpool striker had little effect during Thursday’s 1-0 defeat at Estadio Balaidos to Manchester United, with the Argentine boss explaining he would be working hard to find a stronger attacking plan for next week’s leg at Old Trafford.
“I think Aspas was very closely marked throughout the match,” Berizzo explained at his post-match press conference.
“Due to being heavily marked he wasn’t able to get free and we will work hard to find a solution so that Old Trafford he can have more of an impact.
“Really, we hope we can work to fix that as this is not the end, I will repeat myself.
“Our home matches show us, technically and tactically, what we need to do to get through in the away games.”
