Valencia midfielder Dani Parejo was abused by Real Madrid fans as he made his way in to the Bernabeu to watch the Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.
Parejo – reportedly a self-confessed admirer of Atletico Madrid – made his way into the ground only three days after his free-kick came close to derailing Los Blancos’ title bid.
The 28-year-old came through the youth system at Real Madrid and scored a pinpoint free-kick to momentarily draw Los Che level during Saturday’s league clash before Marcelo netted a late winner.
Formerly of Queens Park Rangers, the midfielder was greeted by shouts of 'you nearly lost us the league' by home fans as he entered the stadium according to various reports across Marca and AS.
