Line-ups: Madrid-Valencia

James Rodriguez starts over Isco for Real Madrid this afernoon against Valencia, who are without Mestalla hero Simone Zaza.

James is rewarded for his brace at Deportivo La Coruna, with Gareth Bale still sidelined, as Isco must settle for a place on the substitutes’ bench, alongside Marco Asensio.

Keylor Navas is back in goal, as are Sergio Ramos and Dani Carvajal in front of him.

Casemiro returns to anchor Luka Modric and Toni Kroos in midfield, while Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo are recalled up top.

Valencia won the reverse fixture 2-1 back in February, which ended Madrid’s record unbeaten run of 40 games, but Zaza will not be able to add to his goal against Los Blancos that evening due to injury.
