Ignacio Camacho has reignited the speculation surrounding his future on the eve of Malaga’s game against Valencia in La Liga on Saturday.
Camacho had a deadline-day switch to West Bromwich Albion collapse last summer, and the midfielder admitted he would consider leaving Malaga again, providing the offer was “good” for him and the club.
“You know I’m a sincere person and that I have no problem talking,” he told Marca.
“We’re all focused on the rest of the season. What has to happen will happen, if [an offer is] good for me and Malaga, we’ll have to study it.
“There was a time when both sides prioritised sporting issues over personal ones.
“It was very important for us to be focused and that there was no speculation about contracts or personal preferences.
“It’s there for all to see. There’s no hard feelings or anything.”
The Andalusians have midfielder Jose Rodriguez back from injury and full-back Federico Ricca back from suspension against Valencia, whose Coach Voro Gonzalez remains in the dark over his position, amidst institutional changes at the club.
“It doesn’t bother me to be told that I’m a good person [and not a Coach],” he said at a Press conference.
“I’m a good person and I try to be one. It’s the only way to be. The club will make their decision when the time is right and I don’t feel aggrieved.”
Jose Luis Gaya is out due to a recurrence of his hamstring problem, while Aymen Abdennour and Rodrigo Moreno remain sidelined.
