A trip to the Bernabeu to face Real Madrid is the best possible match as a Barcelona player, according to Coach Luis Enrique.
The former midfielder, who played for both clubs, believes it is important for the team to be able to re-motivate themselves as quickly as possible after Wednesday night’s Champions League exit at the hands of Juventus.
“After a defeat like this, it’s difficult to wake yourself up,” Enrique told his press conference after the defeat to Juve.
“But we have the best motivation a Barcelona fan can have – which is visiting the home of our eternal rivals.
“As I said as a player, there is no better place to go for a Barca fan or player than the Bernabeu.
“Obviously it will be difficult, with a special atmosphere, but it is a marvellous stimulus for us.
“So it will be difficult to revive the players, but very easy to motivate them.”
