Juventus are hopeful of signing Argentine playmaker Nicolas Gaitan from Atletico Madrid this summer, according to reports.
The 29-year-old has only made eight La Liga starts for Los Rojiblancos since joining from Benfica for €25m last year and has struggled to make a strong impression at the Vicente Calderon.
Calciomercato.it report Atletico could be willing to cut their losses on the player and sell for as little as €15m this summer, a figure which would appeal to Juve.
Capped 16 times by Argentina and starting his career at Boca Juniors, Gaitan went on to win three league titles across six years at Benfica before moving to Spain.
