Atletico Madrid are reportedly calm over the chances of Diego Simeone being tempted into the vacant Argentina Coach’s role.
Edgardo Bauza was on Monday relieved of his duties by the South Americans and Cholo has been touted as a possible successor, though it’s believed Jorge Sampaoli is the preferred candidate.
AS adds that Simeone has already given his word to Los Colchoneros that he will be in the dugout next season and even if Argentina were considering an approach, it would cost more than €20m to break the contract of the former national team captain.
