Valencia are reportedly Eduardo Berizzo’s first choice for next season even as Celta Vigo try to renew his contract.
Super Deporte claims new Valencia general manager Mateu Alemany has identified Berizzo as his preferred option to be Coach from next season and Berizzo is similarly inclined, though he still insists he won’t discuss his future with Celta or anyone else until the end of the season,
It’s said, however, that Berizzo has already rejected one offer from a club that will play in the Champions League next season because Los Che have his attention, above even the significant financial package offered by the unnamed suitor.
Celta want Berizzo to make a decision sooner rather than later but the Argentine is understood to be firm in his stance not to announce anything before the close of the campaign.
