Koke robbed at gunpoint

Atletico Madrid midfielder Koke was robbed at gunpoint on Thursday evening in the Spanish capital, according to reports.

The 25-year-old had his watch stolen by the individual, who made off on a motorbike, alongside €70,000 in a car park in the popular area of Chamberi.

The police suspect the midfielder was followed into the car park by the man on a motorbike and was then threatened with the gun when he wound down his window to get a parking ticket.

Reports say the attacker shouted 'give me the watch' whilst holding a gun close to Koke’s head, before making off on the motorbike at speed, with police now studying CCTV footage of the incident, which was immediately reported by the footballer.

The incident came within 48 hours of Saturday’s Madrid Derby at the Bernabeu, although the midfielder trained with his teammates as normal on Friday.
