Nacho hails Madrid’s records

Real Madrid’s Nacho Fernandez has hailed the attacking talent within the team as they made it 50 matches scoring in a row across all competitions.

The previous Spanish record of 42 matches had been set by Barcelona between 1942 and 1944, while the current streak of Los Blancos goes back to 26 April and a scoreless draw at Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final.

"It is not easy to go on a run of 50 matches scoring and we've done that thanks to the quality we have up top," Nacho told Real Madrid’s official website.

"We go in to the games with the intention of winning and we know that if we keep a clean sheet, we'll be in a good position to take the points. It's easy with these players."

Madrid have notched 135 goals in 50 games – Cristiano Ronaldo is the top scorer with 30 goals in 39 games – while Nacho became the 19th player to score in La Liga this season, netting against Alaves on Sunday.
