Premier League side Arsenal are lining up a bid of €29m for Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan this summer according to reports.
The Times report the Gunners are preparing for the double departure of star attackers Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil, and have prioritised the Turkish star who joined Barca in 2015.
The 30-year-old has been restricted to a limited role at the Camp Nou since joining from Atletico Madrid for €34m, with a further €7m in variables and has been linked recently with a move to China.
Turan has three years remaining on his contract with Barca but this summer’s departure of Coach Luis Enrique could signal a shake-up in the club’s squad and they may well accept any offer which comes close to recouping the fee they spent on the Turk.
