Real Betis have lodged complaints with the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) and the Referees' Committee (CTA) over continued refereeing errors.
Los Verdiblancos were on the receiving end of controversial officiating decisions on Sunday – Keylor Navas escaping punishment for fouling the onrushing Darko Brasanac and Dani Carvajal’s tackle in the penalty area being waved away.
This came four days after Deportivo were awarded a highly-debatable penalty in the second minute of stoppage time to rescue a point against Betis at the Riazor, while Victor Sanchez’s side have also been lost both Seville derby matches due to controversial offside decisions.
Marca reported on Wednesday that there have been nine matches where Betis have been on the wrong end of incorrect decisions which have directly cost them points.
"The club has called the federation, we will continue to call [RFEF president Angel Maria] Villar and [CTA president Victoriano] Sanchez Arminio to protest because there have been too many games and too many decisions that have gone against us," Betis vice-president Miguel Lopez Catalan said to his club's official TV channel.
"We don't want gifts from them and we don't want to be at a disadvantage.
"We are extremely angry, I think everyone saw it, even the official. It was a clear red but he didn't want to make the call. That episode would have changed the game. Madrid doesn't need those gifts.
"We are playing well and we need to persevere because in the end the results will come.
“There are still many games left to play and the important thing is that the team is growing. Now we have focus on our game at home to Osasuna, we need a win at all costs."
Betis sit 14th in La Liga, with only one victory in their last ten matches.
