Leon predicts Eibar upset

Eibar midfielder Pedro Leon believes his side are capable of derailing Real Madrid’s title ambitions further when they clash at Ipurua on Saturday.

The 30-year-old spent three years at the Bernabeu and is confident the Basque side are capable of taking points of Zinedine Zidane’s side again, having earned a 1-1 draw in Madrid earlier in the campaign.

"We have competed well in every game this year and we picked up a draw at the Bernabeu so we know what we can do," Leon told Marca in an interview.

"The team has been good in all of our games, except perhaps Barcelona when we weren't at our best.

"To win against Real Madrid, you have to put in a very serious effort, give your absolute best and need them to have an off day too.

"Ipurua is a difficult place for any visiting team to come to so hopefully on Saturday, we can make them uncomfortable and we know that if we play to our best then we can make life very difficult for them.

“We are probably going through our best moment of the season, the team is becoming very consistent and on a personal level, I'm very happy too.

"I'm really looking forward to the match and I think that we can pick up a positive result."
