Tottenham Hotspur Coach Mauricio Pochettino has refuted rumours he could be persuaded to join Barcelona as he is ‘very happy’ in England.
The 44-year-old has previously managed in La Liga, at Barca’s Catalan rivals Espanyol, and has been one of the names linked to the hotseat at the Camp Nou, with current incumbent Luis Enrique’s future at the club looking increasingly bleak after Tuesday’s heavy loss in Paris.
"I can't say anything about [managing Barcelona]," Pochettino told a news conference ahead of his side’s Europa League clash with Genk.
"I'm at Tottenham. I am very happy, [I have] four more years of my contract, enjoying an exciting project. It's true it's not an easy project, but I'm very happy here."
Other names to be linked to the Blaugrana’s management position are Sevilla Coach Jorge Sampaoli and Athletic Bilbao manager Ernesto Valverde.
