Luis Enrique snapped at a journalist after Barcelona’s 4-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain on Tuesday, accusing the Press of discrediting him.
Enrique was interviewed by Catalan television channel TV3 in the wake of Barca’s heavy loss to PSG in the Champions League last 16, where he took issue with reporter Jordi Grau’s line of questioning.
“It seems too easy to blame intensity, no?” riposted the Coach.
“It looks like you didn’t watch the game very closely because we went from a 4-3-3 to a 4-2-3-1, trying to change things and above all locking on to their players and getting Leo inside more, with more freedom.
“We could’ve done handstands and [my lack of credit] would’ve been the same. I’m not worrying about it though.
“I accept all responsibility, but also when we win, I’d accept the same treatment and the same personal treatment I get in interviews.
“Your tone to me that I see right now, I would like it to be kept in interviews for when we win matches.”
