Callejon: Napoli fear Madrid

Napoli midfielder Jose Callejon has admitted his side are apprehensive ahead of their Champions League tie with Real Madrid – ‘the best club in the world’.

The 29-year-old moved to Naples in 2013 from the Bernabeu, going on to become an instrumental part of Napoli’s side with 53 goals in 159 appearances to date.

“We need to worry about everything, that’s why there’s fear – it’s the best club in the world, you have to look out for practically everything,” Jese told AS.

“Of course I’ve dreamed of going back (to Madrid)…I did not expect it to be now, in the Last 16, it's a bit early to play Real Madrid! But the draw is like that sometimes…

“Cristiano? He is a normal, modest person. He’s a great worker – first to come in and the last one to leave. When I trained with him, I always tried to learn. It’s not every day you work with the best in the world.

“We are in a good moment right now, we on a great streak of games without losing, and we have the 2nd leg in San Paolo, which will be spectacular.”
