Arsenal could end up taking Karim Benzema from Real Madrid, thanks to Sergio Aguero’s uncertain Manchester City future.
Pep Guardiola has in recent games favoured City’s January arrival Gabriel Jesus over Aguero and AS notes Los Blancos are long-time admirers of the Argentine.
Chelsea are mentioned as well but it’s suggested Madrid would be willing to pay the €80m City would want to sanction Aguero’s exit.
If Aguero did make the switch to Santiago Bernabeu then there would need to be a departure to make room and Benzema is considered the most likely candidate to leave.
Arsenal have in the past made approaches for the France international and a fee of €58m is suggested.
Alvaro Morata, though, is wanted at Chelsea, where Antonio Conte, the ex-Juventus Coach who worked with Morata in Turin has the bench, but Morata’s age means it’s less likely Madrid allow him to leave to make way for Aguero.
