‘Osasuna fighting for our lives’

Osasuna Coach Petar Vasiljevic promises his side will 'fight for their lives' when they take on Sevilla.

The Pamplona side are bottom of LaLiga, having won just one match all season, and will face an uphill task once more this afternoon against Jorge Sampaoli's title challengers.

However, at the Press conference to preview the encounter, the Serbian said his team are not yet in the last chance saloon as they battle to stay in Spain's top flight.

"It isn't the last chance, but we need to play every game as if it were the last," Vasiljevic told reporters.

"We are fighting for our lives, we need a lot of desire. We need to show that on the pitch and see how it is. I have no doubt we will see a brave Osasuna with a good attitude.

"The team who commits the least errors will get the points."

The Rojillos boss then praised his opponents, who are looking to narrow the gap to Real Madrid in their quest for a shock title win.

"Sevilla are in a very good moment. It is the best Sevilla of recent times and they are showing that with results.

"They don't care about playing at home or away. They play with a lot of intensity, in the style the Coach has brought in."
