Celta Vigo have signed former Rayo Vallecano midfielder Jozabed Sanchez on loan from Championship club Fulham for the remainder of the season.
The 25-year-old joined the West London club for an undisclosed fee from Rayo in summer but has failed to make an impact at Craven Cottage, earning only one start in seven appearances for the club.
Os Celestes confirmed the deal was completed on Friday morning with an option to buy included, which may be activated at the end of the season.
The central midfielder spent his youth career at Sevilla before spells with Ponferradina and Jaen led to Paco Jemez signing him for Rayo in 2014, where he became a regular starter.
However, he has struggled for game time since leaving Vallecas and will be available for Celta’s participation in La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Europa League.
