Simone Zaza’s representatives are currently negotiating the forward’s exit from Juventus as a move to Valencia looms, according to reports in Spain.
Cope Valencia state the clubs are closing in on an agreement which would take the 25-year-old on loan to the Mestalla from Turin until the end of the current campaign, with an option to buy between €15-20m.
Jesús García Pitarch and Cesare Prandelli were both keen for Zaza to join Valencia before they left their roles as sporting director and manager respectively, but their exits are not thought to stand in the way of any proposed move.
The negotiations between the clubs have also accelerated any potential deal for Juve full-back Patrice Evra, who would favour a move to Mestalla over West Ham United but is waiting for a firm offer for Manchester United.
