Leeds sign Spaniard Pablo Hernandez

Leeds United have completed a permanent deal for former Spanish international winger Pablo Hernandez until the end of the current campaign.

The high-flying Championship side signed the 31-year-old on a loan deal from Qatari side Al-Arabi in August and he has impressed in his stint at Elland Road – scoring three goals in eighteen appearances.

Hernandez spent last season on loan at Rayo Vallecano but is most famed at his stint at Valencia, where he made over 150 appearances, alongside spells with Cadiz and Getafe, while he spent two seasons with Swansea City in the English Premier League.

The winger has won four caps for Spain and scored his sole international goal against Austria in 2009, the same year in which he was a member of Spain's Confederations Cup squad.
