Jese set to leave PSG

Unai Emery has confirmed that Jese Rodriguez will leave Paris Saint-Germain this month after admitting he cannot satisfy the forward’s “needs”.

Jese has scored just one goal in 261 minutes for PSG since arriving from Real Madrid last summer, and Emery is ready to let go of the 23-year-old in order to aid his development.

“I talked to him, he needs to recover his rhythm and confidence, so he must get minutes and opportunities,” the former Sevilla boss was quoted as saying by AS.

“The possibility that Jese leaves the club is real.”

Jese was seemingly set to join hometown club Las Palmas, but their President Miguel Angel Ramirez subsequently revealed Roma, Milan and Liverpool were also in the race.
