Ramos Malaga exit imminent?

Juande Ramos is reportedly “hours” away from leaving Malaga after the Coach agreed to waive the remainder of his contract.

Malaga President Sheikh Abdullah Al Thani appeared to prematurely confirm Ramos’ departure via Twitter on Friday, and that tweet has since been corroborated by Marca and Diario Sur.

A final agreement between both parties is expected to be ratified on Saturday, with Ramos happy to only take away the wages he has earned to date, despite signing a three-year contract in the summer.

The former Sevilla, Tottenham Hotspur and Real Madrid boss, 62, had guided the Andalusians to a respectable 11th place in La Liga during the first half of the season, although they were stunned by second-tier Cordoba in the Copa del Rey midweek.
