The draw for the last sixteen of the Copa Del Rey produced some mouth-watering prospects as many top sides were paired against each other.

There will be a repeat of the 2015 final as back-to-back champions take on Athletic Club Bilbao, while last year’s beaten finalists Sevilla will take on 2014 winners Real Madrid.

In other big ties, last year’s two beaten semi-finalists – Valencia and Celta Vigo – will clash and there’s a top five battle between Real Sociedad and Villarreal.

2013 winners Atletico Madrid also face top half opposition as they were drawn against Las Palmas, while the two only remaining Segunda teams – Alcorcon and Cordoba – will meet, ensuring the country’s second tier will have a representative in the quarter finals.

Elsewhere, Eibar will take on Osasuna while Deportivo La Coruna will face Alaves.
