Las Palmas to sign Jese

Former Real Madrid attacker Jese Rodriguez is set for a swift return to La Liga as Las Palmas are close to finalising a deal with Paris Saint-Germain.

The 23-year-old left Real Madrid in the summer to join the French champions but has struggled to adapt to life in Ligue 1 and has not cemented his place in the starting eleven under Unai Emery with El Larguero now reporting he is set to reject AC Milan and move to his boyhood club Las Palmas.

The only obstacle in the deal’s completion is a dispute over whether the move should be temporary or permanent, with Los Amarillos struggling to raise the necessary funds for a transfer despite this being the preference of the Parisians.

PSG signed the forward for €25m and they are said to be hoping to recoup this amount in any sale, despite scoring only once in twelve appearances in Paris.
