‘RM get more added time’ – Garitano

Deportivo La Coruna boss Gaizka Garitano has hinted Real Madrid get favouritism from officials and ‘the final whistle doesn’t blow’ until they score.

Sergio Ramos netted a winner for Los Blancos in the fourth minute of injury time at the Bernabeu as they preserved their six-point lead at the top of La Liga and secured a club record 35 matches unbeaten in all competitions.

Despite Alvaro Morata giving Zinedine Zidane’s side the lead, two strikes from Joselu, on loan from Stoke City, gave Depor a shock lead before Mariano Mejia’s 84th minute equaliser and the late, dramatic winner courtesy of Ramos.

"Madrid have a lot of power at the end, when five minutes are added on when there was almost no time we knew we'd play until they scored," Garitano lamented after the match.

"In the Bernabeu there is more added time, until Real Madrid score the final whistle doesn't blow."
