Valencia boss Cesare Prandelli has lamented his side's conceding of a last gap equaliser at home to Malaga as their poor run of form continued.
Pablo Fornals netted in the 3rd and 90th minute for Los Boquerones to deny the hosts at the Mestalla who had led for just shy of an hour after hitting back through Rodrigo and Alvaro Medran.
"The mistake we made was to think only of the result, which meant we forgot about our own performance," admitted the former Azzuri boss after the game.
"What we have to do is the opposite – you have to think of your own game and then the result follows naturally from that.
"We now have to raise our heads and think positively, we must become strong and organised in defence, become hard to beat."
Valencia remain 16th in the standings while Malaga now sit 11th.
