Victor Sanchez del Amo has praised the display of his Real Betis side, describing them as 'infinitely superior' to Celta Vigo in their 3-3 draw.
In an action-packed game at Estadio Benito Villamarin, Los Verdiblancos came from a goal down to level against the Galicians five minutes before the break but twice through away leads in the second half.
"First of all, we are extremely disappointed not to win at home as our aim is always to collect three points here," explained the 40-year-old in his post match press conference.
"The players were particularly angry at the end because in the second half we were infinitely superior to Celta, we dominated after the break against a quality team yet could not win.
"For the opening 25 minutes we were poor and that's what we will be analysing the most because we started slowly.
"I need to congratulate the players on the rest of the game for their effort, work-rate and ability to turn the tide against a team who are technically very good and are excellent in possession.
"The fans were superb and gave us great encouragement, so we are disappointed we could not give them the win they deserved too."
