Barcelona coach Luis Enrique has called for any blame on his side's recent poor results to be laid at his door and not that of the players.
The Catalan club sit six points off leaders Real Madrid and have drawn back-to-back league games, prompting criticism of the players, the style of play and the coaching methods.
“The changes in results are to do with me,” Enrique told reporters ahead of Barca’s Copa Del Rey clash with Hercules on Wednesday.
“I think this squad is the best in the last three years but the manager is the same rubbish, therefore this is the only difference.
“I said our squad is the best but I did also say we had to confirm this with good results and that hasn’t happened yet.
“My opinion is the same now, however there are so many games still left to see if this squad can get brilliant results.”
Barca travel to Hercules for the first leg of their Copa Del Rey tie on Wednesday night before taking on Madrid in El Clasico on Saturday.
