Cesare Prandelli lamented Valencia’s “unfair” 2-1 defeat to Sevilla but insisted “we’ll only lose a few games playing like this”.
Nicolas Pareja’s late strike and a Sergio Rico save to deny Jose Gaya at the death extended Valencia’s winless run in La Liga to six, but Prandelli was adamant his side had done enough to come away with at least a point.
