Prandelli wary of ‘perfect’ Sevilla

Cesare Prandelli admits he is wary of Sevilla’s ability to play “like a perfect team” ahead of Valencia’s trip to Sanchez Pizjuan on Saturday.

Prandelli and Valencia are in need of wins, Los Che having not picked up a victory since the Coach’s debut five matches ago against Sporting Gijon, and he is not expecting their task to get any easier in Andalusia.

“Sevilla aren’t a perfect team, but at times they like a perfect team. They were perfect in the first half against Barcelona,” he said at a Press conference.

“It will be a tough match, they play a very intense brand of football, but my team are working very well and we’re prepared. We’re a team that want to start competing.

“Our style of play can still be changed, but we’re working to improve the players individually. We’ve thought about it, but we’ll see.

“Munir? He’s like the other players, like Mina or Bakkali. We’re a team with many players. We must all grow together.

“We’ve talked a lot about the psychological problem, which is simple. When the answer is the same for everyone, not just certain individuals, it can be overcome.

“When we see insecurity or fear, we must act together. For example, if Enzo says that we’ve hit rock bottom, we must agree that’s the problem.

“We must love the shirt and help one another. We must work together, in both good and bad times.

“Siqueira? Since I arrived, he’s had a muscular problem, but he’s recovered well over the past two weeks. Obviously he can’t play 90 minutes yet, but he can do 60 with great intensity.

“Explanation of goals conceded in the last five minutes? The first thing I spoke to the team about was that.

“We must be more focused. It may be a coincidence, but we're working on that aspect of our concentration.”
