Granada have suspended David Barral as they investigate an alleged bust-up between the striker and winger Isaac Cuenca at training.
Currently bottom of the La Liga standings, the club announced they had taken the step due to 'the gravity of the incident' which reportedly occured at lunchtime at their training ground.
Various reports in Spain suggest the two - who had reportedly struck up a strong friendship - were eating together before Barcelona youth graduate Cuenca threw a glass of water over the former Levante striker, who is said to have responded with punches.
Neither player took part in the club's training on Wednesday as the incident is fully investigated.
