Griezi ‘fully committed’ to Atleti

Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has ruled out star striker Antoine Griezmann leaving the club, especially to rivals Real Madrid.

The 25-year-old has been strongly linked to a move away from the Vicente Calderon with Manchester United reportedly eying up a move, while French giants Paris Saint-Germain saw a failed bid over the summer, before the striker signed a new deal with Athletic until 2021.

"I don't believe there is any possibility that (Real) Madrid or any other team will sign Antoine Griezmann because the player doesn't want to leave this team,” Cerezo explained on Cadena Cope.

"Beside the sporting rivalry that exists between the two clubs, there is a magnificent relationship with them.

"I'm convinced Real respects everyone, more so their neighbours, which is us."
