Barca eye Lichtsteiner deal

Barcelona could make a move for Juventus full-back Stephan Lichtsteiner in the January transfer window, according to reports.

The club are reportedly ready to sell Aleix Vidal – who has failed to establish himself in the first team since his move from Sevilla in 2015 – while there have been concerns regarding Sergi Roberto's form at right-back.

Lichsteiner is out of contract at the end of the current campaign and has found appearances at Juve limited this season due to the arrival of Dani Alves from Barca and the Bianconeri are believed to be open to selling the Swiss full-back in the next transfer window rather than risk losing him on a free transfer.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that the 32-year-old – who has been left out of Juve's Champions League squad – interests the Blaugrana, while both Mundo Deportivo and Sport have linked him to the club, along with Valencia full-back Joao Cancelo and Shakhtar Donetsk veteran Darijo Srna.
