Sevilla rule out Fabregas move

Sevilla coach Jorge Sampaoli admitted any team would love to sign Cesc Fabregas but he was not thinking about such a move.

The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder has featured only sporadically for the London Blues this season, prompting rumours that the Europa League winners could be interested in taking him back to Spain.

"I know he's an important player, but I'm not thinking about him,” the Argentinean boss confessed at a news conference ahead of his side’s match against Boca Juniors in the Antonio Puerto trophy.

"He's very intelligent and it's clear he's a player any coach would love to have. But it hasn't crossed my mind that he could be here.

"We're linked with players day in, day out. We value the squad that we have here highly and I'm not thinking about any more than that."
