Leganes fear Vazquez, Morata

Leganes are hopeful Real Madrid will play Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema and Cristiano Ronaldo rather than Lucas Vazquez or Alvaro Morata on Sunday.

The newly-promoted Madrid-based club will face Los Blancos for the first time in the top flight as they travel to the Bernabeu, and manager Asier Garitano and captain Martin Mantovani would rather not face the two La Fabrica graduates.

"For us it's better if the BBC start than if Vazquez and Morata play because of the type of players they are and the mentality they have," Garitano explained to Cadena Cope.

The comments follow those of club captain Mantovani, who is also wary of the Spanish pair.

"Morata and Vazquez are different players from the BBC,” the Argentine said on Cadena Cope.

"They are the type of players that are hungry and want to prove a point while the BBC are already established.

"We learned from our defeat to Barcelona and we are better prepared for this game.

"The fact that they played in the Champions League this week could condition them, but the important thing is that we show our best version to have a chance.”
