Vazquez hails ‘landslide win’

Sevilla winger Franco Vazquez believes his side's 'landslide' win over Dinamo Zagreb was significant as they stand on the brink of the last 16.

The 27-year-old played over an hour in the four-goal victory for Jorge Sampaoli's side, who now require only a point from their remaining two fixtures to qualify for the knockout stages of the Champions League for only the third time in their history.

"We are all happy to have won by a landslide, it's very important to our aims and ambitions this year," explained the former Palermo attacker to Estadio Deportivo.

"With the first goal and the red card, we had the space and time to attack how we wanted and expose their defence.

"The draw by Juventus means we need to wait, but we are confident of going through and it feels good to be clear at the top of the group.

"We have not done anything yet and must keep working."
