Liverpool midfielder Philippe Coutinho’s scintillating form this season has resulted in him being linked with a move to Barcelona.
Sport reports that the Brazilian is keen to move to the Camp Nou after his agents Giuliano Bertolucci and Kia Joorabchian sounded out the Catalans last year regarding a possible switch.
The 24-year-old penned a new contract until 2020 with the Merseysiders in February 2015, yet his impressive recent performances have also made other clubs including Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain sit up and take notice.
Coutinho, who has four goals and four assists so far this season, is a friend of Barca star Neymar and is no stranger to the Catalan capital, having spent the latter part of the 2011-12 season on loan at Espanyol from Inter Milan.
