Barca antics embarrassing – Tebas

La Liga chief Javier Tebas has implied Barcelona players 'feigned' injury from a plastic bottle and they should be 'embarrassed'.

The controversial president of the Spanish league likened the incident to a game of ten-pin bowling, with a number of players going to ground simultaneously while he also believed they were provoking the Valencia fans.

"It looked like a game of ten-pin bowling," the 54-year-old claimed in an interview with Sportyou.

"Perhaps they (fell because they) felt the water.

"We have all seen these images and there are millions of children who are watching.

"If my children were to see my feigning something, I would feel embarrassed when I went to see them later."

The president also expressed his disapproval at the celebrations of the Barca players after scoring the last minute penalty, as they appeared to goad the fans of Valencia.

"I didn't like it," Tebas continued.

"I don't know if it was Neymar or someone else, but we have to get rid of this kind of behaviour.

"When so many people are watching you, you need to try to avoid it."
