Malaga boss Juande Ramos has heralded his side's 'comfortable and resounding' victory over Leganes as a complete performance.
The former Sevilla and Real Madrid coach was particularly impressed with the team's defensive display and clean sheet which he felt gave them a platform for victory.
"Not to concede was particularly important as it gave us comfort and freedom to play how we wanted to," explained Ramos.
"It was a comfortable and resounding victory which will give us confidence.
"The negative was another injury (to Serbian midfielder Zdravko Kuzmanovic) but other that that it was a perfect day for us.
"We do need more time of course, but the team balance is good and we are improving."
