Line-ups: Valencia-Barca

Sergi Roberto is back for Barcelona this afternoon against Valencia as Andre Gomes starts against his former club for the first time.

Barca make three changes to the side that beat Manchester City 4-0 midweek as Sergi shakes off a thigh injury to return at right-back, Lucas Digne replaces the injured Jordi Alba on the other flank and Gomes is preferred to Ivan Rakitic.

Aleix Vidal is also a surprise inclusion on the bench, as is B midfielder Carles Alena, although they are profiting from injuries to Gerard Pique, Alba, Rafinha, Arda Turan and Jasper Cillessen.

Valencia, meanwhile, give recalls to Eliaquim Mangala and Luis Nani after the pair missed Cesare Prandelli’s first game in charge – a 2-1 win at Sporting Gijon.

Paco Alcacer and Munir El Haddadi swapped clubs over the summer, but the forwards are only substitutes for the champions and Los Che respectively.
