Valentini Guardiola, Pep’s father, has ruled out the current Manchester City boss ever returning to his former club.
Guardiola’s Manchester City take on Barcelona at Camp Nou on Wednesday night, the second time the manager has returned to the stadium after his Bayern Munich side were eliminated at the semi-final stage in 2015.
“Return to Barca? Why? To be a ball boy? The truth is that I can’t see him as president or on the bench again,” Valentini explained on Cadena Ser.
“His time at Barca has passed, so I don’t think it would go well. At the very least you can rule out managing (Barca again).”
