Aubameyang on the move?

Real Madrid have been given hope on a future deal for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as Borussia Dortmund 'would listen' to offers.

The French-born Gabonese striker has netted 88 goals in 151 appearances for the German club since moving from Saint-Etienne in 2013, but Borussia's general director Joachim Watzke has said his club would be open to offers.

"If Real Madrid contact us, we will talk to them but the transfer operation will not be easy although Aubameyang's transfer won't be automatic," explained Watzke.

"We want him to stay with us. Contrary to the players who have left us in recent months, Aubameyang has a long-term contract which ties him to us until 2020. There is absolutely no pressure whatsoever and I don't get the impression that he is eager to leave".

However, the 27-year-old striker has admitted that he would like to move to the Spanish capital one day to play for Los Blancos.

"Real Madrid always has had a place in my heart…I promised my grandad that one day I would play for them, so I hope it happens," he told Onze Mondial magazine earlier this month.

However, Zinedine Zidane's clubs are currently serving a transfer ban that will not expire until January 2018, pending appeal.
