Bravo ‘motivated’ to face MSN

Manchester City goalkeeper Claudio Bravo has revealed facing Barcelona's Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar is what motivates him.

The Chilean goalkeeper will face his old Barca team-mates on Wednesday night for the first time since he left Camp Nou in August and believes that his side have a chance of matching the hosts on the night.

"To play against them is a privilege because they are great players. It's very motivational to play against them (Messi, Suarez, Neymar), but Barcelona and City are two teams with very similar styles and both have the weapons to win the game," the 33-year-old told Marca.

"The only way to stop Messi is if we play very well, with intensity – many study him, others don't. He's magical, the player that can make the difference."

The goalkeeper rejected claims he had anything to prove upon his return to the club where he won two LaLiga titles.

"No. I return with peace of mind and the desire to play a good game. I did what I had to do [at Barcelona] and I'm very happy to return on such a big stage in world football," explained Bravo.
