Eibar duo to play against Osasuna

Eibar's Sergi Enrich and Antonio Luna are expected to be involved in their side's Monday night clash with Osasuna, despite featuring in a sex tape.

It is the Basque side's first match since the controversial video was leaked online, with rumours that the two would be disciplined by the club including suspension from the starting eleven.

However, boss Jose Luis Mendilibar has appeared to confirm both will be involved against Osasuna.

"They are ready to play – they both trained normally and are physically and psychologically good," the manager stated.

The players had previously apologised for the controversy in a joint statement on social media.

"We want to state that the video shows a recording of a private act which took place between fully consenting adults, within the scope of the freedoms we all enjoy,” read a statement posted on Enrich’s twitter.

"We deeply regret that an indiscretion for which we are not responsible has led to these images being published without our knowledge or, far less, our consent.

“We likewise regret the potential damage [not only] to our image but in particular to that of our club, whose colors we represent, and that it could have offended our supporters and the city of Eibar in general.”
