Real Madrid playmaker Isco is 'top of the list' of Juventus transfer targets, according to reports in the Italian media.

The front page of sports daily Tuttosport leads with the story that Isco is favoured by the Italian champions, who are also on the lookout for a host of other star players from both Madrid and Barcelona.

It reports that Juve's CEO Giuseppe Marotta is targetting more 'marquee signings' following Gonzalo Higuan's arrival from Napoli this summer and has set his eyes on La Liga to entice stars to come and play in Turin.

Marotta reportedly has his eyes on Croatian duo Ivan Rakitic and Luka Modric, currently of Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively, as he looks to directly replace Paul Pogba's star central midfield status, while he also likes Modric's and Isco's teammate Toni Kroos.

Any move for Kroos, Modric or Rakitic seems unlikely as all three are being targetted for contract extensions by their current clubs, although the future of Isco is less certain – as reports in Spain suggest Real Madrid could be keen to sell the out-of-favour midfielder.

Isco has in recent months been linked to a return to his former club Malaga, while a number of sides in England are believed to be interested.
