Barcelona and Valencia are reportedly in talks regarding a swap deal between the clubs for full-backs Aleix Vidal and Joao Cancelo.
Vidal's future at the Catalan club looks bleak and he has failed to break into the side since his move from Sevilla last summer, despite the departure of Dani Alves this summer, while Barca are keen on recruiting Portuguese full-back Cancelo according to Radio Valencia.
Sergi Roberto has established himself as right-back under Luis Enrique following Alves' departure to Juventus and former Sevilla player Vidal looks certain to depart next summer if not in January and Valencia are reportedly interested in making a move for the 27-year-old.
Barca's sporting director Robert Fernandez watched Cancelo – who is ahead of Martin Montoya in the pecking order at the Mestalla – in Valencia's defeat to Atletico Madrid this weekend and he wants to raid the club again following summer moves for Andre Gomes and Paco Alcacer.
