Busquets admits poor display

Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets has held his hands up for a poor personal display in Vigo, admitting he and his team-mates must improve.

Busquets picked up a yellow card and was subbed off for Denis Suarez with fifteen minutes remaining in his side's 4-3 defeat at Celta Vigo and he has expressed his disappointment in the match for his individual performance and that of his team.

“I’m one of the culpable parties. It’s clear it wasn’t one of my best games. The errors in the middle of the pitch penalised [the team] a lot. I have to work hard and keep improving,” said the 28-year-old.

"We are not robots or machines, sometimes you mess up because you don't have control or because you're not well-positioned.

"Celta started well but we made things easy for them and they punished us."

Barcelona now sit fourth in the table after seven rounds of games, with Atletico Madrid leading the way.
